Nest is an elegant addition to Monica Förster’s collection of turned sculptural objects for Zanat. It takes its name from its form, which resembles a mystical tree with branches at the top and a bowl at the bottom, perfectly summarizing both its aesthetics and its function.
The bowl at the bottom is not only a visual gesture, but also a very useful detail to leave keys, cards or small items when entering the house. After all, home is where we take off all the “hats” we carry all day long. When we hang our personal belongings on the branches of the coat rack, we create a cozy space of our own, a feeling of a small home.
