Nimba is the first lamp designed by Antoni Arola in the late 90s and one of the first luminous halos on the market. It is a floating ring made of a metal profile and an inner shade that diffuses light. At the time, the concept of an indoor shade instead of an outdoor one was very innovative. The name of the lamp is inspired by the “nimbus or halo around sacred images that can be seen but are not there”. The nimba reflects light to spread it in all directions. Used as a single unit or in sequence, Nimba provides the perfect amount of soft light to create an atmosphere suitable for both transitional spaces and secluded areas. The family has four led lamp models in different diameters that seamlessly combine simplicity and high technology.
