PH Artichoke Yellow Glass Pendant

PH Artichoke Glass Yellow is crafted from 72 sheets of yellow glass, carefully mounted in a high-gloss chrome frame to provide the extraordinary, glare-free light for which this iconic Poul Henningsen design is known. PH Artichoke Glass Yellow is part of the Louis Poulsen | FENDI Casa collaboration that debuted at Milan Design Week in 2023. Each piece in the collection is a reinterpretation of iconic Poul Henningsen designs that subtly reflect FENDI’s distinctive design language through luxurious color schemes.

With this collaboration, Louis Poulsen and FENDI Casa have come together to explore the idea of duality, combining Danish design tradition and Italian excellence, creating a collection of products that reflect a shared approach to craftsmanship, innovation and heritage, resulting in modern interpretations of products created almost 100 years ago.

The luminaire provides 100% glare-free light. 72 precisely positioned leaves form 12 unique rows of six leaves each. As they illuminate the luminaire, they emit diffused light in a unique pattern. The reflection from the light source is diffused on the sandblasted lower surfaces and this light is decoratively reflected on the upper surfaces, giving the luminaire a unique glow. Surface treatment on the glass sheets eliminates direct glare. The quality of the light and atmosphere surrounding the product is kept at the highest level for the energy-efficient led variety.
