Perhaps the most recognizable chair in Fritz Hansen’s Poul Kjærholm collection is the PK24 lounge chair.
Inspired by the Rococo period and the French chaise longue, Kjærholm used steel to support a sinuous and flowing form. He called it the ‘Hammock Chair’ to emphasize that it functions by suspending the body between two points.
