Kasthall designer Ellinor Eliasson drew her inspiration from a variety of sources. One of them was the exquisite work of designer icons Anna Albers and Sheila Hicks, especially their intricate textile designs, in which they combined shapes and colors to create new nuances and tones.

The award-winning Quilt is a hand-woven rug of pure wool and linen.
Its surface is both cut and looped at different heights and combined with shades of color. Kasthall designer Ellinor Eliasson draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. One of them was the exquisite work of designer icons Anna Albers and Sheila Hicks, especially their intricate textile designs in which they combined shapes and colors to create new nuances and tones.
Another inspiration was Boro textiles, a family of Japanese textiles used in the 19th century. The result is an innovative and unique rug that is both durable and elegant.
