Designed in 2018 by Japanese studio Nendo for FLOS, the geometric luminaire is a sculptural piece that explores the concept of balance. Two independent cylinders sitting at right angles to each other provide a bright light source that shines through the floor. Ideal for drawing attention to a work of art or interior feature, or illuminating a poorly lit corner or hallway, the powerful visual impact of a floor lamp adds an artistic and modern touch to a space.
The design of this lamp is based on the superposition of two independent cylinders in contact in a vertical direction, one of which plays the role of a light source, while the other acts as a support.
