VL Studio Wall Lamp
The VL Studio family derives from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset (Radio House, headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation) in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The name ‘Studio’ was chosen because some of the lamps were used outside studios to indicate with a red or green light whether recording was taking place. The VL Studio lamp is closely related to the Radiohus Pendant; both create a diffused light through opal glass that provides a pleasant overall light around the lamp. True to its original materials and design with minor changes, the VL Studio Wall lamp was reintroduced in 2022. The VL Studio Wall lamp is also available in a new matte black version for a more graphic, clean expression compared to the soft, warm look of the polished brass version. With its simple aesthetics and elegant materials, the VL Studio Wall lamp adds a modern touch and warm ambience to any interior.
