The K-Series, or Oba-Q, is the epitome of Japanese post-modernism, designed by legendary Japanese interior designer Shiro Kuramata in 1972.
Oba Q has been given another name. Because the shadow is shaped like a lovingly popular ghost icon of a Japanese cartoon. The shade is like a blanket of white fabric that gives off a mesmerizing soft glow.
Made by four Japanese artisans by simultaneously laying a single heated piece of acrylic sheet on a pole.
