Bellhop is a large-scale glass lamp that explores the legendary design with a new material twist, opening up new aesthetic and technical possibilities.
A large-scale table lamp. The dome consists of a triplex opaline glass diffuser structured as a sandwich of glass layers, consisting of a white layer sandwiched between two transparent diffusers, blown together simultaneously. Each layer has a different thickness. This design was developed in collaboration with Flos R&D Department. The use of triplex opaline glass and its large size, which keeps the light source away from the inner surface of the diffuser, creates a homogeneous, warm and inviting lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere in the space. The materials are characterized not only by their aesthetic value, but also by the fact that they are recyclable at the end of their useful life, emphasizing Flos’ commitment to sustainability.
