With a marble structure, the armchair pays tribute to the solidity of an ancient temple, gracefully embracing the soft upholstery of the seat cushion, armrests and backrest. Part of the larger La Grande Muraglia collection designed by Mario Bellini and Piero Ambrogio Busnelli, this armchair has evolved over time to take on its current character: simple and serious in appearance, yet warm and inviting in spirit.
With harmony in their proportions and meticulously thought-out details, the supports and skeleton resemble the columns and lintel beams of an imaginary monumental structure. Thus creating a dynamic balance in strong contrast with the soft flooring elements.
