Lamparaprima Table Lamp
Designed to stand on a table or hang on a wall, Lamparaprima consists of an LED tube supported by a metal rod covered by a rotating visor-like shade. By twisting and turning a coat hanger, Pete Sans came up with an ingenious and impressive solution that would become his first commercial lamp and the second product launched by Santa & Cole.
“There is always an element of invention in my work,” explains the creator. The 2025 version offers a low-voltage (12V) system that enables the structure itself to conduct electricity. Even if this is visually reminiscent of a traditional ceiling light, it requires an LED light source and also allows it to be switched on and off with a simple twist of the lampshade.
