Completed four years later, the palace was a masterpiece of Art Deco style. Muthesius complemented the architecture with his own furniture and lamp designs.
The Maharajah had countless servants. Eckart Muthesius has added another one: The Mandu valet offers an elegant look with typical Art Déco influences. It is very feminine and yet – perhaps for this reason – it is mostly preferred by gentlemen who don’t want to store their business jackets in a simple cloakroom. The original chrome-plated version reflects the ambience, while new colors such as black and bronze particularly accentuate the lines of the design.
