Designed for CC-tapis, the Patcha collection interprets the concept of gesture through an imperfect assemblage of spontaneous collages, a fascinating composition of color and pattern.
Patcha utilizes the patchwork spontaneity of mixed media collage by overlapping and combining strips of mint green, lavender, taupe, burgundy and speckled technicolor fields.
A multitude of textures, pile heights and colors define the character of each rug. Patcha carpets use sustainable dyeing techniques and new materials, such as less water and silk left over from Indian Sari production. The speckled technicolor areas are achieved by using silk and excess wool left over from the production of other carpets.
