Tortello Armchair

Tortello is a monolithic armchair with generous, soft and comfortable lines. As its name suggests, its design is quite impressive. Tortello is composed of unexpected elements that come together in harmony with each other.

The supporting structure is in the form of a trapezoidal base tray manufactured by rotational molding from recycled polyethylene. This structure is completed with an elastomer mattress placed on top. On top of the mattress, thanks to a special sewing technique, a soft top piece covered with a fabric with a unique profile is placed.

Tortello has a responsible production approach, using the most advanced technologies and innovative materials. At the heart of the collection are the principles of circularity and recycling. The main structure, made of second-life polyethylene, is supplemented with polyurethane foam and thermoplastic elastomer elements that determine its geometry and comfort. Although the amount of polyurethane used is kept to a minimum, a high level of softness is achieved thanks to special structural solutions.

The materials and manufacturing techniques chosen allow the structural components to be assembled without the use of adhesives or glues. This makes Tortello completely dismountable and extremely easy to recycle.
