Type Ton RE Chair

Type Ton RE is a fully plastic chair with forward tilt, made from post-consumer recycled materials.

The name Type Tone comes from the chair’s characteristic double seating position: From the normal position, the Tip Ton RE can be tilted forward a few degrees. This forward leaning position straightens the pelvis and spine and thus improves blood circulation to the abdominal and back muscles.

Tip Ton RE’s high-quality recycled material comes from Germany’s ‘Yellow Bag’ (Gelber Sack) system, which collects household waste, especially used packaging. Using this raw material instead of petroleum-based primary plastics reduces climate-damaging emissions and consumes significantly less energy.

Type Ton RE is produced from a single mold without the use of any mechanical components. Some glass fiber is added to the recycled material to achieve the required stability and quality of the design.

Extremely durable and 100% recyclable, Tip Ton RE can be stacked up to four chairs and is available in a choice of colors.
