Cylinda Table Lamp
Angeletti & Ruzza designed Cylinda, a table lamp made of two cylinders of different sizes and thicknesses. The thinner and taller first one becomes the base that supports the second unit, a large, thin disk with a glowing LED light source underneath, creating a light shadow. In the words of the designers, the basic forms of this design aim to “To eliminate, not to add anything that is not absolutely necessary: This was the mantra that guided the design of the lamp; with its silent presence, it manages to create a positive atmosphere that can transform everyday routine into everyday poetry.” Cylinda is characterized by a strong, poetic presence that fully reflects the Oluce DNA, maintaining a minimalist refinement through the use of clear lines and geometric shapes.
