One of Ceccotti Collezioni’s most iconic pieces is D.R.D.P.
Inspired by De Chirico’s “double rêve du primetemps” – the double spring dream – Roberto Lazzeroni also combines surreal images of Salvador Dalì with the leaping forms of Art Nouveau, creatively reworked by the designer in 1989 in a contemporary tone. D.R.D.P. is reminiscent of the organic silhouette and sculptural forms of a plant and is supported by a series of slender, minimalist legs in solid American walnut. The overall effect is one of extreme lightness, which inspired this design of the Hypnos sofa.
