The Favela Armchair is the result of a great deal of manual skill and a week of work.
Without any internal frame, Favela is made of many strips of natural wood.
Pine for indoor use and teak for outdoor use. In both cases, the strips are nailed on top of each other by hand, in a random order that makes each chair different from the next.
The beauty of the favela lies in the choice of natural materials combined with the apparent simplicity of the construction.
