Fiandra Sofa

Fiandra is a modular system with recycled polyester fiber filling, polyurethane with a percentage of bio-based polyol and polyurethane filling with a percentage of recycled polyol. The inner frame is mesh and powder-coated with a black velvet bottom cover.

Offered as an armchair and sofa, Fiandra defines spaces through a careful choice of modules, expanded by Cassina to allow multiple interpretations of use, and is now also available as a chaise longue and square pouf. The various elements can be combined to create original compositions or used individually. Reinforcing Cassina’s commitment to design new horizons in the furniture sector with an increasingly sustainable approach, Fiandra has been renovated using innovative materials and made easily dismountable.

Fiandra’s new construction is characterized by the absence of a co-molded structure: cushions of different density are simply placed on the metal frame and securely wrapped in an inner cover made of recycled polyester fibers to ensure maximum stability of the piece. Fiandra’s innovation is not only structural, but also material: the soft inner cushions are made of two types of polyurethane: one with a percentage of bio-based polyols, the other with a percentage of recycled polyols.
