D Studio is conceived as a center for modern furniture and lighting, where visitors can meet and connect on various interior projects and experience the collections in person. To achieve its new design ambition, Design Holding has commissioned Milan-based Studio Design Group Italia to bring its visions to life, from strategy and identity to the space of each brand.

Copenhagen is the first location of D Studio, which took over a beautiful 1760 square meter historic building in Holmen to work in, an obvious choice with its design roots. Italian brands – B&B; Italia, Maxalto and Arclinea – are shown with a different perspective on Scandinavia, where a slice of their most iconic pieces showcase timeless Italian design.

Louis Poulsen at D- Studio has created a new experiential and hybrid showroom that elegantly showcases its entire catalog, perfectly representing Danish design, where form always follows function. In addition to the immersive Light Labs, where experts share all the nuts and bolts of the brand, good lighting and how it can transform a space, it also includes an informal lounge area, providing a place for designers and visitors to meet and be inspired.

Italian lighting brand Flos has moved its Scandinavian headquarters to the design complex in Holmen, home to the new D Studio space. Covering the entire second floor, Flos showcases Decorative, Architectural and Outdoor lighting collections, as well as an area for customizations and large-scale projects.
